All John & Co fragrances are Extrait de Parfum, the highest concentration available in fine fragrance, with a fragrance oil concentration of 33%. This is significantly higher than an Eau de Parfum (typically 15 to 20%) or an Eau de Toilette (typically 8 to 15%).

This means richer, deeper performance from fewer sprays, and a scent that evolves beautifully on skin over time rather than simply fading.

Padronàle is Italian in spirit. Indulgent, unhurried, and rich in character. Inspired by Mediterranean warmth. Think spice, amber, leather, and aged wood.

As Extrait de Parfum concentrations, most John & Co fragrances perform between 8 and 14 hours on skin, with some base-heavy formulas in the 1801 collection lasting beyond that.

Longevity varies depending on your skin type, hydration levels, and where you apply the fragrance. Pulse points like the wrists, neck, and inner elbows tend to perform best. Applying to moisturised skin will also extend wear.

Yes. Fragrance has no gender. It is a personal statement, not a category. Our collections span a wide range of character and intensity, and we encourage you to choose based on what speaks to you, not what the label suggests.

Our fragrances contain fragrance compounds that may include ingredients listed as potential allergens under EU/UK cosmetics regulations. Full ingredient information is available on each product's packaging.

Keep your fragrance away from direct sunlight, heat, and humidity, all of which can degrade the formula over time. A cool, dark drawer or shelf is ideal. Avoid storing bottles in the bathroom, where temperature fluctuates.

Stored correctly, a John & Co Extrait de Parfum will retain its full character for 3 to 5 years or more.

Absolutely, and we strongly encourage it. Our Sample Sets let you try any combination of 3 or 6 fragrances in 2ml vials before committing to a full bottle.

You can also experience every fragrance in person at our pop-up. Come and spend time with each one on skin. That is the best way to truly know a scent.

Our standard bottles are 50ml. With an Extrait de Parfum, you typically use 2 to 4 sprays per application. At daily use that gives you approximately 3 to 6 months from a 50ml bottle, longer if you rotate with other fragrances.

Because of the high concentration, a little goes further than you might expect.

Full bottles are available in 50ml. Sample vials are 2ml and available in sets of 3 or 6, a great way to build your fragrance knowledge before investing in a full bottle.

Fragrance makes a wonderful gift. If you're purchasing for someone special, please get in touch and we'll do our best to accommodate a gift presentation — particularly if you're visiting the pop-up in person.

Due to the nature of fragrance, we are unable to accept returns on opened bottles. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of receiving it and we will resolve the issue promptly.

Unopened, sealed products may be returned within 14 days of purchase. Please get in touch to initiate a return.

Yes, we offer free UK shipping on all orders over £60. Orders under that threshold are subject to a standard shipping fee calculated at checkout.

UK orders are typically dispatched within 2–3 business days and arrive within 1–3 days of dispatch via tracked courier. You'll receive a tracking notification once your order is on its way.
